Paweł Wocial

is a Polish sculptor, designer and scenographer, installation, object and video artist. His artworks were presented among others in Monaco, London, Venice, Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam or Wien.


Wocial realized dozens of international individual and collective exhibitions, with artists: Marina Abramović, Magdalena Abakanowicz. Banksy, Peter Weibel, David Černý, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Tracey Emin, Erwin Wurm, Li Hui, Franz Ackermann and others.


His works were presented, for example, at Contemporary Venice in Venice, at Watou Art Festival in Belgium, at NordArt in Germany, at Paris Fashion Week, in WUK in Vien, in the ZKM Centre for Art and Media Technology in Karlsruhe in Germany (the sculpture realized with the support of Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk), in CK ZAMEK in Poznań, in Bunkier Sztuki in Cracow, Poland or in BWA Zielona Góra in Poland.


Wocial’s works are in private collections in Monaco, USA, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Australia, UK, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium and many others.

He graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine (ASP), in Poznan, Poland.


Paweł Wocial and dr Kamila Tuszyńska are the independent art collective Wocial-Tuszyńska and they create contemporary sculptures, installations, objects, videos and drawings. Their first joint work, sculpture 2 Lights, was presented at the international art fair Art Market Budapest 2016 and their first joint solo show was in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.













dr Kamila Tuszyńska

PhD in humanities (literary, linguistics, culture and media studies), a media researcher, comics and picture book theorist, visual communication and visual literacy expert, narratologist, visual artist.


She has been conducting thesis seminars and original courses about among others visual culture, she is an author of the book concerning the theory of visual and verbal storytelling “Narracja w powieści graficznej” [“Narratology of Graphic Novels: an Introduction”], PWN.

Dr Tuszyńska is a member of the European Narratology Network (ENN), International Society for the Study of Narrative (ISSN), the International Bande Dessinée Society (IBDS), the Comics Studies Society (CSS) (CSS) and the Nordic Network for Comics Research (NNCORE).
