Paweł Wocial creates contemporary sculptures, installations, objects, videos, drawings and scenography.
Artist whose artworks have been presented so far mainly abroad, among others in Monaco, London, Paris, Berlin, Cannes, Vienna, Copenhagen or at the event during Venice Biennale in the Norwegian Pavilion in 2017, but also in Poland for example in: CK ZAMEK in Poznań (”Zamek” Culture Centre), Bunkier Sztuki in Kraków or BWA Zielona Góra.
Paweł Wocial made dozens of international individual and collective exhibitions realized with a galaxy of other artists such as: Marina Abramović, Tracey Emin, Erwin Wurm, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Banksy, Franz Ackermann, Magdalena Abakanowicz and others.
One of the sculptures - "Look at Me (New Capitoline Wolf)" – had its premiere in London, and then it was presented in different countries, each time in a different outfit specially designed for that occasion. As a sculpture-icon of fashion was presented at the event during Paris Fashion Week, recently at NordArt in a creation designed by Kamila Tuszyńska.
Another sculpture - "Spirit of Ecstasy" shown in many places in the world - ZKM Centre for Art and Media Technology in Karlsruhe in Germany and had its premiere at an individual exhibition in the Stary Browar in Poznań and was created with the support of Grażyna Kulczyk and Art Stations Foundation.
Paweł Wocial realized projects not only in the field of art but also in design, fashion, advertising, scenography and entertainment industry, in this for many international stars. He cooperated, among others in creation of the legendary shoes for Lady Gaga, corsets for the Alexander McQueen collection, or in the design of the restaurant of one of the most famous chefs in the world - Gordon Ramsay.
The works can be found in many private collections in Monaco, USA, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Australia, Great Britain, Holland, Belgium and many others.
Pawel Wocial together with Kamila Tuszyńska are the art collective Wocial & Tuszyńska.
PhD in humanities (literary, linguistics, culture and media studies) is a media expert, visual communication and visual literacy expert and visual artist. She regularly is featured as an expert in numerous media, including television, radio and press.
Co-author, author and projects participant in the field of art, culture and literature, as: National Center for Culture, Polish Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Museum of the Warsaw Uprising, and others.
Author of the book "Narration in Graphic Novels" (PWN, 2015, ISBN: 978-83-011-8552-7) and of papers, introductions and educational texts, among others in the first in Poland album about concept art.
Privately and professionally Kamila Tuszyńska is the educator, propagator of art and culture in all fields of life: she conducts original courses e. g. visual and verbal workshops, artistic and applied narratives; she also writes „Wernisażeria”, the first lifestyle blog about vernissages.
