bricks, concrete, water
At first those who entered the basement of the Inner Spaces gallery found it hard to recognize where reality ended and art began. Components of the installation - fragments of brick columns and ceiling – pretended to be the space in which they were placed. Their fragmentation, incompleteness allowed to see what was hidden inside the structure. It turned out that the columns and the roof contained water, which explained the high humidity in the basement. The diploma project carried out at prof. Wojciech Kujawski’s sculpture studio exposed the processes of shaping the amorphous and building structures for what is fluid and elusive.
